Prairieland FS Scholarship Program Process

We are offer 5 - $1,000 scholarships to full-time area students with an interest in pursuing a career in agriculture or agribusiness. Scholarships will be awarded upon successful completion of the fall semester.

Objectives

The primary goal of the program is to encourage area students to prepare for a career in agriculture or agribusiness

STEVE WEAVER AGRICULTURE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

To apply for the Steve Weaver Memorial Scholarship, an applicant must:

• Be active or seeking membership in local agriculture groups or vocational classes, including membership in his/her local FFA chapter or 4-H.
• Be at least a high school senior or already enrolled in a college and must have maintained a satisfactory grade point on at least 3.0 of a 4-point scale. Please submit official transcripts.
•  Scholarship recipients can only receive the Steve Weaver scholarship once.
• Scholarship recipient must attend Clark County School District R-1 in Kahoka, MO.                                                                                    

 How to Apply:

1.  Download and complete the application.
2. Submit the application and official transcript to Prairieland FS Attn: Lauren Hadden 1132 Veterans Dr. Jacksonville, IL 62650
3. Applications, and official transcripts, must be received in our office by March 24th, 2023 to be accepted.
